The vapochromism of the platinum(II) terpyridyl complex [Pt(tpy)Cl](PF 6) (1, tpy = 2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine) was investigated. Complex 1 was found to exist in two forms. The yellow form of 1 turned to red by exposing the solid to either vapor or solution of acetonitrile, accompanied by changes in luminescence spectroscopy. This process could be reversed upon the loss of Cited by: complexes of platinum(II) with amino acids do not really model those complexes with. the protein as seen by the preponderance of chelate formation with the free amino acids. This is due to the accessibility of the terminal amino and carboxyl groups in contrast to. their rigidity and non-availability within the proteins. Summary. E.p.r. and spectroscopic studies of bis(1,4-diazacycloheptane)copper(II) perchlorate, bromobis(1,4-diazacycloheptane)copper(II) perchlorate and dibromo-bis(1,4-diazacycloheptane)copper(II), were carried out in MeNO 2, DMSO and H 2 O solutions as well as in the polycrystalline state. The ligation of bromide ion to bis(1,4-diazacycloheptane)copper(II Cited by: 5. The IR data, magnetic susceptibility measurement, and spectroscopic data of copper complexes 1–5 indicate square planar geometry. The IC 50 values of copper complexes are higher than the value exhibited by the native enzyme (IC 50 = μmol dm −3) on a molar by: 2.

The kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics of some of the prepared complexes are discussed. Proposed fragmentation and thermal decomposition patterns for some of the complexes are also given. The cyclic voltammetric of the complexes showed that the Ni(II) compounds undergo one-electron reduction and oxidation to form the corresponding Ni(I) and Cited by: New complexes of platinum(II) and palladium(II) with dimethylphenylphosphine are described. 1H Nuclear magnetic resonance data for these complexes, and for simple derivatives of. The Kinetic parameters for the thiolato-ligand substituent reactions with halide ions of square-planar [Pd(pt)(p 3)](BF 4) (p 3 =bis(2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl)phenylphosphine, pt=1-propanethiolate) were obtained to compare to the reaction mechanism with that for the corresponding reactions of the trigonal-bipyramidal complex with an analogous phosphine Cited by:   Ten amino acid complexes of platinum (II) and palladium (II) of the type [M(L−L)(a−a)]Cl (where M=Pt or Pd; L−L=bidentate polypyridyl chelating agents and a−a=amino acids, S-methyl-L-cysteine or L-methionine) have been synthesized and characterized by various physical methods. The conductivity data show that these complexes are 1∶1 electrolytes and Author: V N Joshi, A S Gijare.
